These daylong events offer networking and professional development opportunities for women’s studies and women’s center administrators on Thursday, June 15.

The General Conference begins on Thursday evening and concludes Sunday afternoon; it will feature concurrent breakout sessions, new member events, and professional development sessions for graduate students and junior faculty. Special events will include a Creative Writers Series, an art exhibition, a film series, a book exhibition, and area excursions.

NWSA's annual conference provides an opportunity for teachers, students, scholars, activists, and community and cultural workers to share research findings, strategies, and programmatic concerns, for effecting social change.
Events include pre-conferences for the Program Adminstration and Development Committee, and the Women's Center Committee; a film series, a writers series; and a large book exhibit featuring publishers, artists, videographers and other vendors. Special tours are also arranged in the area for conference goers to enjoy.
