It was heartwarming to find this posting. Thanks to the hundreds of women and men collectively in the Bay Area for supporting Gwen and her years of effort. With the support of the local musicians who have shared their venues with Gwen recently; Leslie Hassberg w/ Carrie Gerendasy with their Tribute to the Women Singers / Songwriters of the 60's and 70's and also the truly gifted duo WILDSANG at http:// www.wildsang.com. - the fire caught wind. It was your kindness and generosity that fueled Gwen and has continued to give her strength.

Also, the fans locally and of northern California, spreading the word and igniting each other into action. We must continue to band together to be stronger in our efforts.
Those of us that know her - know the treasures that she holds, the pains that she has suffered and the riveting blues that she shares with all of us.
Sundays event . . . will be a day to remember! The producers and performers, the volunteers, Malaga of Malaga Corp. and Karen Larsen - you are all extraordinary in your work! Words cannot express my gratitude nor those of Gwen for your efforts and faith in keeping the dream alive.
I do know that I am looking forward to watching this living legend continue to heal others, wake us up when lying dormant and continue in our paths - to make this place a better world. Peace thru music...

Thank you Gwen... for everything!
