It is always great to discover a new source of information and entertainment in what seems like a sea of internet emptiness for LOC...Quick ? and suggestion. How often does someone check your Sister sites or links? It would be great to get rid of the ones not still up ie. girlz nda life, chicago studs...i'm sure their are more, it just makes navigating a little easier and keeps expectations then dissapointment to a minimum.

This site is so informative! After seeing Lamya in the Coffee Klatch section of this page I went to her website (www.lamya.com) and I was blown away! Everyone should watch her video for "Empires" on this page. I was excited to hear she will be on Regis and Kelly this coming Wednesday (oct.9). I hope to see much more of her on national TV!!

Whew! I was thinking as I was searching, there just have to be some sites that expose some further public presence of lesbian women of African descent who thinking a little harder, and with a little more progressive intent. This is far better than a good start. www.Femmenoir.net is a very impressively put together site. Nice chocolate colors as a backdrop that remind me of - well - ME. If I had one wish, it would be that some of the pieces herein included names of the authors, and email addresses for them. I'm single, but even if I weren't, I would want to offer some strokes to these wise and obviously FOCUSED women. The notion of being able to dialogue with our speaker/commentator/writer brings us still closer together; and of course, an enhanced and more authentic closeness between us is what we sorely need to give more life to our struggle. Thanks for a lovely experience. I'll be back.
