Below is a PDF flyer for a public reading of a new fantastical play that targets issues of black lesbian/gay identity and pride. Three actresses take on the roles of men and women of African-American Heritage. They learn through the lessons of past generations and their own current struggles, just how to survive any storm that hard times bring their way. It is an Afro-Lesbo Fantasia set in modern day Black America with a blues underscore.

About the playwright: Donnetta Lavinia Grays recieved her MFA in Acting from the University of California, Irvine. She is an Assoc. Producer of the Women of Color Arts Festival. She has appeared on Law and Order:CI and is featured in the Emmy Award winning documentry Where Do We Go From Here? She is recently partnered and living in Brooklyn.
